Filet Mignon or Petite Sirloin with Crumbled Blue Cheese and Balsamic Sauce

Ingredients:

  • 2 Pre Filet Mignon or Petite steaks
  • 1 ½ cups balsamic vinegar
  • 3 tbsp. sugar
  • 2 tbsp. butter
  • salt
  • pepper
  • blue cheese
  1. Boil 1 ½ cups of balsamic vinegar and 3 tablespoons of sugar over medium-high heat until reduced to 1/3 cup, stirring occasionally for about 16-18 minutes.
  2. Preheat broiler. Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in large skillet over medium-high heat. Sprinkle steaks with salt and pepper. Cook steaks for 3-4 minutes per side (medium rare), or preferred doneness.
  3. Crumble cheese over steaks and broil until cheese melts for about one minute.
  4. Sprinkle with pepper and drizzle balsamic over steaks.
  5. Enjoy!
