Taco Beef Lettuce Cups
Make an extra batch of this Whole30 taco seasoning to put on lettuce cups, burrito bowls or taco salads.
Ingredients:
- 1 lb Pre® Ground Beef
- 1 tbsp cumin
- 1 tbsp chili powder
- 1 tbsp smoked paprika
- 1 tbsp oregano
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 1-2 tsp cayenne (depending on how hot ya like it!)
- 1 head of Boston lettuce
- Toppings: Pico de gallo, avocado, red onion, and cilantro
- Heat a skillet with enough oil to coat the bottom of the pan. Once hot, add ground beef to brown.
- Mix all spices together in a small bowl. (Store extra in an airtight container and store it in a cool dry place.)
- Once the meat starts to get color but isn’t cooked all the way, season with about 3 tablespoons of your homemade taco seasoning. Add salt to taste.
- Spoon beef into lettuce cups or taco shells with your favorite taco toppings!
