Whole30 Hawaiian Burgers

Simple. Fast. Fresh. This Whole30 burger sings with fresh pineapple, tomato and red onion on a lettuce "bun."

Ingredients:

  • 1 Package Pre 1/3 lb. Burger Patties
  • 4-6 leaves of Bibb lettuce
  • 1 tsp. coconut aminos
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 4 1/2 inch slices of fresh pineapple (cored)
  • Fresh cilantro
  • 1 tomato (sliced)
  • 2 tbsp. red onion (chopped)
Sauce: 
  • 2 tbsp. Whole30 compliant mayo
  • 1 tbsp. Whole30 compliant ketchup
  • 1/8 tsp. onion powder
  • 1/8 tsp. black pepperPull your steak from the fridge and start to preheat your cast iron or non-stick skillet to medium-high. 
  1. Heat grill to medium-high heat. Pat dry burger patties on both sides and season with pepper.
  2. Before grilling, drizzle each burger patty with coconut aminos. Lay patties on grill and cook to desired doneness.
  3. While the patties cook, lay four slices of pineapple on the top rack of grill. Cook for about 2 minutes on each side.
  4. In a small bowl, mix together the ingredients for sauce.
  5. Lay each burger on a lettuce wrap, top with grilled pineapple, sauce fresh cilantro, red onion, and tomatoes.
  6. Enjoy!
