Whole30 Beef and Bacon Breakfast Bowl

Ingredients

Beef and Bacon Patties

    • 2 lbs PRE 92% Lean Ground Beef
    • 6 strips bacon, cooked and diced
    • 1/2 tablespoon sea salt
    • 2 teaspoons black pepper
    • 3 teaspoons fresh sage, chopped
    • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
    • 1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary
    • 1/2 teaspoon dried chives
    • 1/2 teaspoon thyme
    • 1 teaspoon red chili pepper flakes
    • 2 tablespoons ghee, halved

The Bowl

  • 3/4 cup tahini sauce
  • 3 tablespoons water
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • Riced Cauliflower
  • Fresh parsley or dill, chopped
  • Boiled Eggs

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine all patty ingredients. Be sure to adjust the red chili pepper flakes amount depending on your tolerance. Mix well with your hands. Form 12 patties from the mixture about 1/2" to 3/4" thick. Set aside.
  2. Preheat a large sauté pan over medium-high heat and add the first half of the ghee. Add patties and cook to 2-3 minutes per side, or to desired doneness. Set aside.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together tahini sauce, water and lemon juice. Be sure to adjust the amount of water, based on how thick the sauce turns out.
  4. Heat cauliflower rice, or make your own.*
  5. Serve in a bowl: Layer cauliflower rice, breakfast patties, fresh herbs, and soft boiled eggs. Drizzle with tahini sauce and enjoy!
