Sweet & Spicy Blended Burger

To make this burger, blend Pre's 85% lean ground beef patties with shaved carrot, zucchini and adobo chili's for a perfectly sweet and spicy combination. This burger is an easy recipe to serve to your family any night of the week, especially when you are looking for a new take on a classic like the cheeseburger.

  • 1 medium carrot, grated
  • 1 medium zucchini, grated
  • 1 chipotle pepper from a can of chipotle in adobo, minced
  • 2 tbsp of adobo sauce on the side
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1/2 c minced cilantro leaves and stems
  • 1 tsp honey (omit if doing Whole30)
  • 1 lb Pre 85% lean ground beef
  • High heat neutral oil
  • Salt and pepper
  1. Preheat a large skillet to medium heat. Drizzle in 1 tsp of oil.
  2. Add in carrots, zucchini, and cook until soft. Add in garlic, cilantro, and adobo pepper. Cook for an additional minute. 
  3. Transfer vegetable mixture onto a plate and allow to cool completely.
  4. Once cooled, mix into ground beef and form 4 patties with your hands.
  5. In a separate bowl, mix together adobo sauce with honey and set aside.
  6. Season patties with salt and pepper. Cook in a skillet or on a hot grill for 4-5 minutes on each side. 
  7. During the last two minutes of cooking, brush patties with adobo honey sauce. Allow to rest for 5 minutes.
