Philly Cheesesteak Pizzas with Sirloin

A game day party pleaser or a fun way to eat dinner? You decide.

PREP: 5 min. ACTIVE: 15 min. DIFFICULTY Medium

Ingredients:

  • 1 Pre Brands Top Sirloin Steak, room temp and patted dry
  • 1 teaspoon oil and 1 teaspoon oil separated
  • 1 teaspoon kosher sea salt
  • 1/2 medium onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 6 button mushrooms, thinly sliced
  • 6 Whole Wheat English Muffins or Substitute Mikey's Keto English Muffins
  • 2 tbsp. grass-fed butter, melted
  • 6 Slices provolone cheese
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  1. Preheat large skillet to medium high heat.
  2. Preheat the oven.  Heat 1 teaspoon oil in pan and sauteé peppers on onions together until caramelized. Add mushrooms and cook until brown. Set aside.
  3. Reheat pan. Season steak with salt and oil on both sides.
    Slide steak into hot pan and let sear on both sides until desired doneness. (about 4 1/2 minutes on each side for medium rare)
  4. Remove the steak and let it rest for 10 minutes.
  5. While it's resting, assemble the pizzas.
  6. On a large baking sheet, lay out the english muffin halves with the crumb side facing up.
  7. Coat each one with melted butter. Then lay a slice of cheese on top.
  8. Lay the vegetable mix on top of the cheese. Bake for 6-10 minutes until the cheese bubbles and the muffin crisps.
  9. While baking, sliced your sirloin into thin strips. Lay the strips onto the finished pizzas.
  10. Top with sea salt and oregano. Enjoy! Place it under broiler for extra crispy pizza
