Pan Seared Sirloin with Sage Ghee

You don't need much to cook the perfect steak. Kick it up a notch with this herbed ghee.

  • 1 PRE sirloin steak
  • 4 tbsp. Tin Star ghee, room temperature
  • 4 tsp sage, finely chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp. lemon pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. flake sea salt
  • Olive oil


  1. Preheat cast iron skillet to medium-high heat
  2. Pat sirloin steak dry. Season with salt and oil.
  3. Place in hot pan. Sear on both sides for 3-4 minutes or until desired doneness. Remove and let rest for 5 minutes.
  4. Add remaining ingredients to ghee and combine thoroughly. Place in refrigerator to chill until needed.
  5. Top hot steak with a generous dollop of herbed ghee. Enjoy!
