- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp. garlic powder
- 1 tbsp. Italian Herb blend, dried
- 1 tbsp. black pepper
- 1 large egg
- ½ cup almond meal (or other flour)
Toppings
- 1 cup marinara
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella
- ½ cup crumbled goat cheese
- ¼ cup aged parmesan, grated
- ½ cup sliced mushrooms
- ½ cup sliced green olives
- 2 tbsp. minced garlic
- 2 slices pancetta or bacon (optional)
- 2 cups baby kale or arugula
- 1 stalk green onion
- Olive oil
Instructions
- Pre-heat oven to 400F.
- In a large bowl combine the beef, salt, garlic powder, herbs, pepper, egg and flour. Mix until well combined. Oil a pizza pan or sheet pan with a little olive oil. Shape the ground beef mix into a 12” pizza crust. Flatten and spread, and then use your hands to mold the edges smooth.
- Bake for 15 minutes. Remove from the oven, and if there is any liquid in the pan, carefully drain it.
- Spoon the marinara on top of the meat crust and spread to the edges.
- Add the mozzarella, then the mushrooms, garlic and olives. Add the goat cheese.
- Cut the pancetta into small pieces and sprinkle around. Lastly sprinkle the parmesan all over.
- Bake for 10 minutes, then broil for 2 minutes to get a nice toast on the cheese.
- Remove from the oven. Gently transfer to a cutting board. Top with the greens and onion.
