Mac N Cheese Spider Bites
These one-bite Halloween treats are so good, you might lose your fear of spiders.
Ingredients:
- 1 Pre 85% Ground Beef
- 1 box elbow macaroni noodles
- 4 tbsp butter
- 4 tbsp flour
- 3 cup milk
- 4 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 4 oz cream cheese
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 2 egg
- Mini cupcake liners
- Option: plastic spider rings for decoration
- Preheat oven to 400ºF.
- Boil water in a large pot. Add pasta and cook until noodles are tender. Drain and set aside.
- Preheat olive oil in a large skillet on high. Add ground beef, salt, and pepper, breaking apart ground beef with a spoon as it cooks. Cook until no longer pink.
- In a separate pan, mix butter and flour on medium heat until smooth like a paste.
- Add milk, cream cheese, shredded cheese, and salt and pepper to taste. Bring to a simmer and stir until creamy.
- Add egg to the cheese mixture, stirring until the egg is completely beaten. Remove from heat.
- Add ground beef and cheese mixture to the pasta. Stir until all ingredients are completely combined.
- Line a mini muffin tin with liners. Carefully spoon the macaroni and cheese into the muffin tins.
- Sprinkle each muffin with shredded cheese. Place in the oven for 15 minutes or until cheese is crispy and golden.
- Let sit for 5 minutes, then add plastic spiders to the top of each for a Halloween treat.
