Mac N Cheese Spider Bites

These one-bite Halloween treats are so good, you might lose your fear of spiders.

PREP: 25 min. ACTIVE: 45 min.

Ingredients:

  • 1 Pre 85% Ground Beef
  • 1 box elbow macaroni noodles
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 4 tbsp flour
  • 3 cup milk
  • 4 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 4 oz cream cheese
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 2 egg
  • Mini cupcake liners
  • Option: plastic spider rings for decoration
  1. Preheat oven to 400ºF.
  2. Boil water in a large pot. Add pasta and cook until noodles are tender. Drain and set aside.
  3. Preheat olive oil in a large skillet on high. Add ground beef, salt, and pepper, breaking apart ground beef with a spoon as it cooks. Cook until no longer pink.
  4. In a separate pan, mix butter and flour on medium heat until smooth like a paste.
  5. Add milk, cream cheese, shredded cheese, and salt and pepper to taste. Bring to a simmer and stir until creamy.
  6. Add egg to the cheese mixture, stirring until the egg is completely beaten. Remove from heat.
  7. Add ground beef and cheese mixture to the pasta. Stir until all ingredients are completely combined.
  8. Line a mini muffin tin with liners. Carefully spoon the macaroni and cheese into the muffin tins.
  9. Sprinkle each muffin with shredded cheese. Place in the oven for 15 minutes or until cheese is crispy and golden.
  10. Let sit for 5 minutes, then add plastic spiders to the top of each for a Halloween treat.
