Jamaican Jerk Sirloin Skewer Bowl

The spice blend is sweet, savory, and smoky. Island beef never tasted this good. Serve on top of warm grains and crisp greens.

Ingredients:

  • 1 Pre Brands Top Sirloin Steak, room temperature
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/8 tsp all-spice
  • 1/2 tsp oregano
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt (Redmond's Real Salt is our favorite)
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  •  tbsp grapeseed oil or melted coconut oil
  1. Preheat a cast iron skillet or non-stick skillet to medium high heat.
  2. Prepare the rub. Combine all spices in a small bowl.
  3. Add oil to the spices to make a paste-like mixture.
  4. Rub the spice mixture all over the steak.
  5. Place into greased hot skillet. If your steak is 2" thick let it cook for 5 minutes on each side for medium rare.
  6. Let rest for 6 minutes on a cutting board.
  7. Slice the steak into thin strips and thread onto wooden skewers.
  8. Serve with a bowl of your favorite veggies and grains.
