Greek Steak Salad with Top Sirloin
All the flavors of Greece in one bowl.
Ingredients
- 1 Pre Brands Top Sirloin Steak, room temp and patted dry
- 1 tsp sea salt
- 1 tsp high heat oil
- 2 tbsp. cucumber, chopped
- 2 tbsp. red bell pepper, chopped
- 4-5 black olives, halved
- 2 cups romaine, chopped
- 1-2 tbsp. full fat greek yogurt, or dairy-free yogurt
- ¼ cup cherry tomatoes, halved
Marinated Onions/Dressing
- ½ cup olive oil
- ¼ red onion, thinly sliced
- 1 tbsp. red wine vinegar
- ½ tsp. dried oregano
- 1 tbsp. lemon juice
- ½ tsp. sea salt
Instructions
- Preheat cast-iron skillet to medium-high heat.
- For dressing: put all ingredients into a small bowl and mix. Let sit for about 10-15 minutes.
- Season steak with salt and oil.
- Sear on both sides for 7 minutes, or until internal temperature reads 145. Let rest for 5-6 minutes before slicing into 1" chunks.
- Toss romaine with the liquid from the dressing.
- Assemble salad with toppings: cucumber, red pepper, olives, yogurt, tomatoes, and steak.
- Finally, top with marinated onions and a sprinkle of salt. Enjoy!
