Whole30 Cajun Burger Lettuce Wraps
Wrap this flavorful burger in a lettuce wrap and call dinner done. This is a great burger to make while doing Whole30 or following a Paleo or Keto lifestyle.
Ingredients:
- 1 small red bell pepper, small dice
- 1/2 small red onion, small dice
- 1/2 tsp celery salt
- 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
- 1 lb. Pre 95% lean ground beef
- Neutral high heat oil
- Salt and pepper
Suggested Toppings:
- Remoulade sauce
- Mayo
- Shredded iceberg lettuce
- Chopped olives
- Preheat a large skillet or medium heat. drizzle in 1 tsp of oil.
- Add in your onions and bell peppers, cook until soft and translucent.
- Add in cajun spice and celery salt and cook for an additional ‘minute or so.
- Transfer peppers and onion mixture onto a place and allow to cool completely before mixing into ground beef.
- Form patties and season with salt and pepper.
- Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side. Allow to rest before plating.
