Beyond easy, put this on your go-to quick snack or appetizer list. The recipe can can be multiplied to serve any size crowd, just keep in mind how many “bite” strips will fit in your air fryer. Jazz up your garlic butter dipping sauce with cayenne, fresh ginger, or fresh herbs.
Blot your steak with a paper towel and tenderize using your method of choice. Slice against the grain into 1/4” strips, place in a bowl and drizzle with the cooking oil.
Add the salt and half of the garlic, tossing to coat the strips.
Put butter in a small microwave safe dish and add the remaining garlic. Microwave in 10 second increments until the butter is melted.
When air fryer is preheated, add the strips to the basket without overlapping them if possible. Cook for 1 1/2 minutes then flip, cook for an additional 1 1/2 minutes then turn off the air fryer. Let the strips rest for a few minutes, and rewarm the butter if needed.
If you are making more than 1 batch preheat a pan in a 200°F oven. Remove cooked strips to the pan while you prepare the next batch.
Place cooked strips on a platter and serve with the garlic dipping butter.
