Pull the beef from your fridge.

Preheat a cast-iron skillet or stainless steel pan over medium-high heat.

Add a very small amount of high-heat cooking oil to your pan.

Add beef to the pan and break up with a wooden spoon.

Cook until you no longer see any pink spots, continuing to break up the pieces with a spoon.

Add salt and any other seasonings you'd like.

Continue to cook until browned all over.

Take it out of the skillet and serve.
